Perfect for catering and take-out operations, this CaterGator black top loading 6" deep insulated food pan carrier with Vigor stainless steel full size hotel pan and lid delivers the durability and the stability your food needs to arrive intact and at the proper temperature. This set includes a food pan carrier along with a full size 4" deep stainless steel pan and a stainless steel hotel pan cover. The carrier features a top loading design for ease of loading, allowing you to simply place pans directly down into the carrier and lift them out upon delivery. Made of durable polyethylene, the carrier easily withstands regular use, transport, and exposure to high heat. Since this carrier is insulated with polyurethane foam insulation, it helps maintain the proper temperature prior to delivery, keeping hot food hot or cold food cold for up to 7 hours. In order to increase the temperature retention time beyond the standard 7 hours, the carrier can be pre-chilled or pre-heated. Simply pre-chill the unit with its lid open in a walk-in refrigerator or freezer for about 30 minutes prior to use. To preheat, load a hotel pan of hot water into the carrier, and close the lid for about 20 minutes. In transit, the lid's four latches tightly clasp shut to close and lock, preventing it from opening en route to the customer and compromising the temperature. When carrying the unit by hand, a recessed groove around the carrier allows the user to grab it from any angle. After use, the unit stacks with other sizes, such as 4" and 8" deep CaterGator top loaders and other similar carriers from other brands.

The included 4" deep pan is made of durable 22 gauge stainless steel so that it's built to last through heavy commercial use. This pan is large enough to hold 14 qt. of your signature entrees, casseroles, and salads. This stylish and efficient pan features round, tapered corners for easy scooping and pouring of foods or liquids. Its flattened edges keep steam from escaping around the pan, providing much higher heat efficiency than comparable pans with bent edges. Plus, the flattened edges provide a comfortable grip for easy holding and transporting. This pan features an attractive and stylish finish, and it includes a lid for your convenience. Its smooth, bright construction fits in with any traditional or contemporary service station. It is also oven- and freezer-safe. When it comes time to store, the anti-jam design allows for easy stacking and release. The pan cover is made of polished stainless steel with a center handle for easy use.
