Product Features
Designed for transport, the CaterGator black front loading insulated food pan carrier provides the versatility and quality you need to safely deliver pans of food. It holds up to (5) 2 1/2" deep food pans and can accommodate various combinations of full, 1/2, and 1/3 size pans that are 2 1/2", 4", and 6" deep. It will work with most types of pans as well, including foil, plastic, and even stainless steel.
Because the carrier is made with polyurethane foam insulation, it offers superior temperature retention and maintains hot or cold food temperatures for up to 7 hours. For use with cold dishes, pre-chill the unit with its door open in a walk-in refrigerator or freezer. For pre-heating the unit, place a hotel pan of hot water into the unit, and close the door for 20 minutes prior to loading your hot dishes.
This insulated pan carrier features a rugged, polyethylene exterior and withstands constant wear and tear from use, transport, and exposure to high heat. It includes plastic latches that securely lock the door to retain temperature. It also includes steel reinforced plate hinges to resist breakage and to ensure longevity. The door even extends to a full 270 degrees for easy access.
For convenient transport, the unit features molded-in handles that are both durable and ergonomic. This design allows the carrier to stack with other CaterGator or similar Carlisle and Cambro carriers and simplify storage.

These things are perfect for serious caterers. Kept my food hot for hours. Put pork butts in them to rest and after 3 hours they were still too hot to pull without insulated gloves.

Arrived today and in a timely manner. The door is pretty warped and several scratches inside. Despite this it appears the gasket still seals. I will use it regardless. As most business owners, I don’t have spare time for the all the crap it takes to return something.

Very nice unit. Keeps the food piping hot for hours. We used this the first time at a catering event for a wedding and it was great !!! I plan on purchasing several more for larger events !! Highly recommend !!!
