Product Features
Designed for transport, the CaterGator Dash end loading insulated food pan carrier provides the versatility and quality you need to safely deliver pans of food. It holds up to (5) 2 1/2" deep food pans and can accommodate various combinations of full, 1/2, and 1/3 size pans that are 2 1/2", 4", and 6" deep. It will work with most types of pans as well, including foil, plastic, and even stainless steel.
Because the carrier is made with expanded polypropylene (EPP), it offers superior temperature retention and maintains hot or cold food temperatures for up to 4 hours. As an added bonus, this carrier comes equipped with a red full size hot board that is convenient and easy to use. This board will extend the temperature holding times of your hot foods beyond 4 hours by simply placing the board in water no hotter than 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-60 minutes, and slide or place into your carrier. This board lays flat in carriers and comes equipped with distance knobs that prevent the board from sticking to the pan. A built-in handle conveniently lifts the board in and out of the carrier to avoid injury.

These are must have for anyone doing offsite catering. They are super lightweight when empty and have a huge capacity. We have things that are similar that don’t do half as well. Food stays hot for eight hours plus. And they are stackable, which is great for small spaces.

It works fairly well for a cheaper option. I would not get this is you are using it regularly. Not sturdy enough for that. You must heat the red heat thing up for the appropriate time is crucial for it to operate correctly.

The newer version of this CaterGator is amazing! It keeps food very warm, especially with the hot board. This is so lightweight, it made my catering and delivery so easy! I highly recommend investing in a newer version like this - even if your older heavier ones are just fine!
