Product Features
Designed for transport, the CaterGator Dash front loading insulated food pan carrier provides the versatility and quality you need to safely deliver pans of food. Plus, the included red full size hot board is a must have accessory for insulated food pan carriers. The food pan carrier can accommodate up to (6) 2 1/2" deep full size food pans and various other combinations of full size pans including (2) 8" deep, (4) 4" deep, or (3) 6" deep pans (sold separately). It will work with most types of pans, including foil, plastic, and even stainless steel.
This insulated pan carrier features a professional grade construction made from expanded polypropylene (EPP), an insulated material with a high level of durability. This high-tech material is extremely lightweight for transporting with ease and offers excellent impact, water, and chemical resistance. It also includes two large latches that quickly and securely lock the door to retain temperature. For convenient transport, the unit features molded-in handles that are both durable and ergonomic. The carrier can stack with similar carriers, like the CaterGator Dash 5 pan carrier and the Cambro 6 pan carrier, to simplify storage. The red latches give the carrier a bold appearance so customers can identify carriers being used to serve hot food.
The polypropylene construction also features superior temperature retention and maintains hot or cold food temperatures for up to 4 hours. If you need a longer hold time for hot food, you can use the included CaterGator Dash hot board to extend your food holding time even further. Simply place the board in water no hotter than 200 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-60 minutes, and slide or place into your carrier.
This board lays flat in carriers and comes equipped with distance knobs that prevent the board from sticking to the pan. A built-in handle conveniently lifts the board in and out of the carrier to avoid injury. Add convenience and efficiency to your catering operation with this full size hot board!

These are must have for anyone doing offsite catering. They are super lightweight when empty and have a huge capacity. We have things that are similar that don’t do half as well. Food stays hot for eight hours plus. And they are stackable, which is great for small spaces.

It works fairly well for a cheaper option. I would not get this is you are using it regularly. Not sturdy enough for that. You must heat the red heat thing up for the appropriate time is crucial for it to operate correctly.

The newer version of this CaterGator is amazing! It keeps food very warm, especially with the hot board. This is so lightweight, it made my catering and delivery so easy! I highly recommend investing in a newer version like this - even if your older heavier ones are just fine!
